About Pit Stop Super Wash
Pit Stop Super Wash is a car wash in Jacksonville, Florida. It is listed at 5545 Fort Caroline Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32277, which places it among the local businesses of Jacksonville that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
Car washes in the United States come in four main formats: the express tunnel, where you stay in the car while a conveyor pulls it through brushes or high-pressure jets; the full-service wash, where attendants vacuum and wipe down the interior after the tunnel; the self-service bay with a coin or card-operated pressure wand, foam brush and vacuums; and the hand wash, where a crew washes and dries the car by hand. Touchless tunnels skip the cloth brushes entirely and rely on chemicals and water pressure, which is gentler on paint but less effective on heavy grime. Most express chains sell an unlimited monthly plan, usually priced at two to three single washes, that is only worth it if you wash more than twice a month. Gas stations often bundle a discounted wash with a fill-up.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open Open 24 hours. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (904) 744-8147. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.
Its Google rating stands at 3.1 out of 5 from 63 reviews, which is below average for the category; consider the recent reviews carefully before visiting.
Jacksonville is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Jacksonville follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Paid so that only the pressure washer wand would work on 4 settings. Foam brush did nothing, the triple foam conditioner did nothing, and only the tire cleaner, pressure soap, rinse, and clear coat options out of 9 settings worked. Wasted money and the phone number does not connect to anyone, instant disconnect. Don't go here.

Came here on the 12th of April, 2025 to wash my truck. Went into the 3rd bay, paid the $6 it stated it would cost for 10min. NO CHEMICALS WORKED. Stupidly decided to try a different bay, same result. No soap, no cleaner, no foam, nothing! Even the "high pressure" water was a joke (Bay 1). Then come to find out, these crooks even charged my card $9 and $6!!! Nowhere listed for any owner contact information for issues or complaints. Do yourself and favor, go elsewhere.

When I first came through, I went to take out my floor mats and vacuum my car. Put the money in and the vacuum did not work. Well technically it did work, but the suction was so low. It would not even suck up any dirt. I moved to another one and that halfway worked enough to kinda vacuum the car. When I went to wash my car, I started with the bug and tar remover. The hose that brings the chemical to the sprayer was broken overhead, and bug/tar remover sprayed down all over my car and on my daughter who was βhelpingβ. I quickly turned it off and went to use the power soap option to rinse it off. The soap never turned on at all, so I was just spraying water. Went to go use the brush and the foam was not foam at all, but just a bunch of white liquid gushing out. Thankfully, I had some of my own product so I was able to use that and just use the sprayer, but definitely did not get what I paid for all. Wouldβve been better off staying home and using my own water hose and saving the $10 I spent. Place really needs maintenance For these issues. Does not compare to the new car washes where you get free vacuums and a decent car wash. If you want to compete, you need to make sure all of yo

Well, it will get the bugs off your vehicle but not much else. The only options on the selector dial that worked were soap and rinse. I didn't try the brush (NEVER use the brush on your paint unless you like scratches) and I didn't bother with triple foam since nothing else seemed to work. Pressure seemed a bit high but it will definitely get the bugs off. If that's all you need, you will probably be satisfied. If you want more than just soap and water, you will probably be disappointed.

Letβs get started with this mess of a place they call a car wash. First vacuum works fine . Second the car fragrance are out and just screws you out ur money. Third the vending machine is messed up press 44 for item it gives you item 33. Broken place last time I come here . Oh by the way trash everywhere and is not kept up. Come here at ur own risk .
